For The European Board Examination in Emergency Medicine (EBEEM), we are looking for 2 volunteers who can help during the exam.

Normally the exam will be face-to-face in the Military Hospital in Brussels, but due to the pandemic we will organise it virtually.

How does this exam work?

The exam will take place from Friday 10 June to Sunday 12 June each day from 09:00-17:00. The candidates will have to go through 8 different stations virtually via zoom platform. 4 of them will be theoretical and 4 of them will be clinical.

In the clinical stations we work with volunteers. The volunteers will follow the instructions of the candidate when they have to examine a patient (another role player).

For the Teaching ENT station we are still looking for 2 volunteers, such as medical students or trainees, who can help out during the whole exam and be present at EUSEM office in Antwerp. The only requirement is good English knowledge.

One volunteer is playing as medical doctor examining another volunteer, who is a patient according to that days’ scenario. There will be rehearsals on 30 May at 3-5pm CEST to prepare for the exam.

EUSEM can offer volunteers 12 EUR/h. The maximum of hours a day is 10 hours.
